I was just starting to look for a carry friendly choice for my wife. I have finally convinced her to get her CHL and the only guns she likes that we have is a little Taurus pt22 (which can't be used in the CHL class but would be a decent little gun for when she goes walking in the neighborhood) and her Model 60 S&W (which is too large really for purse carry if she chooses to go that way). This one looks enough like her Model 60 that she might consider it over my Taurus Poly Protector. Her mom carries the titanium Taurus without the hammer shroud and is happy with it.

I'd be willing to meet y'all at the range if she wants to try it, if you'll cover the range fee.

That's what Mrs. Oldgringo carries. Just point and shoot, no slide nor safety nor magazine to worry/fool with.

Bingo. And not just for my wife. I'm stuck to my LCR now, for those and other reasons.

that's what I started with. I understood revolvers, I just didn't get how anything else worked, so that scared me. Now I have a better understanding of other guns, thanks to a patient husband and you guys, too.
