In case you aren't aware, there was a recall on this product. I bought mine a few months ago, put a few hundred rounds through it, then it got recalled right as a I got my CHL. I got tired of waiting and bought a glock 19 for my concealed carry. I just got my XD-S 45 back from Springfield as I'm typing this.

It includes everything that the XD-S 45 normally comes with, and also includes three 7 round magazines. Two that I bought, and another that is unused that Springfield included for the inconvenience.

I paid $540 brand new, plus tax for the gun. I paid another $40 or so for the two 7 round magazines, and it now includes another 7 round magazine, for a total of 5 mags. You would pay at least $625 for this. I'm asking $525 cash or PayPal. I live in Irving (Dallas area) and strongly prefer a local buyer. PM me if interested.

Edit: I forgot I had already bought two 7 round magazines, and not just 1. That means there are three, 7 rounds mags, in addition to the two, 5 round mags that came with the gun.

How long was it gone to Springfield? (Haven't sent mine in yet.) Sent the link for this thread to my son. I know he wants one. Don't know if he can afford it or not.

All in it was around 7 weeks or so. I sent mine in immediately.

The original buyer and I were not able to meet up over the weekend due to schedule conflicts. I am on the road for the next week. I have another buyer lined up to buy a week from now. He sounds solid but if it falls through, I will let you know

The buyer that was finally supposed to meet me tonight just called and flaked out. Apparently his fiance is anti-gun and she gave him a hard time at the last minute. If I was him I would reconsider my engagement, but that's another story...

So the gun is for sale again with the understanding someone else sent me a PM the other week and told me to reach out to them if the deal falls through. I just sent that person a PM and gave them first rights of refusal as that seems the right thing to do.

I am in Irving (Las Colinas) and still prefer a local buyer in DFW area.

From where we met for the transaction, I dropped by Cabelas, which was on the way home, and picked up a few hundred rounds of Remington UMC, then Shoot Smart, where I put 200 through the little gun. Worked like a champ, though on quite a majority, I seem to be shooting it a bit low. I'll be working on my grip. I did find that it fit my PPS's holster, so after the range, it rode home in the front seat with me!
