Probably should at least put them towards a Taurus...A sigma is the most unreliable gun I have seen around in a while. What good is a truck gun or any gun, if it's going to jam if you did need it?
Probably should look at some other cheap options? JMO

Have you ever owned one? The Sigma is a very reliable gun from a functioning standpoint. Just has a nasty heavy trigger. I never had an issue with mine failing for cycle properly. With a little work you can lighten and smooth the trigger out to where it is bearable to shoot a lot of rounds.

I just got rid of a Sigma SW9F traded it in on Springfield XDs.
Call Texas Kniveworks at 1-866-481-4314, they probably still have it on their sales counter.
FWIW, not what I would call a reliable gun and yes it has a terrible trigger.

What problems did you have with yours? I never had a failure to feed, fire or eject, just a heavy trigger until I worked it over.

I have had no problems with my Sigma S&W 9. Every weapon manufacturer I have ever known has had a bad production day or disgruntled worker on the assembly line at one time or another. Even my Glock has more problems than my S&W. Yes it takes a strong tug on the trigger, so it is not made for small, weak hands. However I do use my Taurus Slim9 for a truck gun and its my favorite.

Yep, got close to a 1000 rounds through my SW40 and I think I had one FTE in the first box. That's been it. Yes, I wouldn't mind having the trigger tuned up just a smidgen but I used it in my CHL renewal qual and shot a perfect score. Second time. Last time I lost two points but that's because I was rushing. Learned to slow down a tad since then.
