When you figure in $125ish worth of ammo and $50 for bases, that's only $625 for a 5R! It was twice that new!

A-R, Remington says this is .223 only. I have heard of folks shooting 5.56 through their 5Rs/700s without issue. I've never done it personally tho.

I'm actually not interested in any AR rifles at this point, only a nice bolt gun, but thanks for the offer!
