Gentlemen, please let me use this area for some education. I see when conversation is going back & forth on a buy & sell deal that some initials are used. Take time to educate me on what they mean please.
btt - as in lumberjacks.
bump

Thanks from a forum learner.

BTT= back to top
Bump= just another way of "bumping" the thread back up
WTS= Want to sell
WTB= Want to buy
WTK= Want to know
SPF= Sold Pending Funds
FTF= Face-to-Face

That's all I can think of..

BTT!

Thanks HT. The 2 I asked for & WTK are new to me. The others I did know. Took me a while to figure them out though.
On BTT, back to top. What does that mean?
Bump - what is bumping it up? Do these just put the post back at the top of the page it is listed on?
One of you guys needs to write a book titled "Forum Abreviations for Dummies" I'd buy it. :cry:

No problem. Sometimes a forum will move fast and your thread will move down. Using BTT is just another way to reply to your own thread to move it back to the first page or to the top again. Same goes with "bump". It's just showing that you want to move it back up.
I've seen people use ^^ also. It's whatever you want to do. There are no rules.

This is a common list of abbreviations used on AR15.com
The list does contain reference to some unfriendly language, which is very normal for this site. I did not find anything outright offensive while providing the above link. The list was once very useful to me when learning some of the slang and abbreviation. Take care.
