WTS/WTT Colt 1911 Sistema (Houston) WITHDRAWN

Made in Argentina on Colt machinery under Colt supervision these Model 1927's are no longer being imported, the supply has dried up.
Thes pistols are identical to the Colt 1911-A1.
This one was manufactured in the late 1960's. Frame, slide, and barrel serial number match. While there is no exterior finish left and some of the markings are faint, this pistol is in very good plus mechanical condition. Interior is entirely clean of rust and old lubricant.
No MIM parts in this pistol! The slide stop and hammer are checkered the way they should be.
All safeties are fully functional. The bore is dark in spots but the pistol still exhibits good accuracy. All springs have been replaced. The sear and disconnector have been replaced and the trigger is about 4 pounds. New Hogue rubber grips. Will include one McCormick SS 8 round power magazine.
This pistol is a good starter 1911 or project pistol or would make a good "car gun". Would look great if some one took the time to blue it or sent it off for a professional coating.
Price is $ Would pefer to deal FTF with another CHL holder.
