SOLD--Dan Wesson CBOB 1911 10mm--DFW area

DW 1911 CBOB 10mm. Price $1450. I have owned this firearm since about 2012. It was manufactured in 2008. Two mags, night sights, owner's manual, box, extra grips.

The original owner said that it was barely fired. When I received it, it was smashing the cases upon ejection. The prior owner said that "he did not notice that". Hmmmmm...how many 10mm shooters don't pick up their brass and reload? Not too many. (To be clear, I have picked up about 50 rounds of range 10mm brass exactly twice in those 12 years.)

I sent the pistol to a good 1911-smith who made repairs and now it functions perfectly. In these years I have probably fired 200-300 rounds through it. Looks nearly new, a few small handling marks, no dents/dings.

But I am reaching an age where I need to thin the herd a bit. And the higher-recoiling pistols are the first to go. I am moving toward lower-recoiling handguns these days.

I also have a complete set of dies, a Dillon caliber conversion, probably 400 rounds of ammo, plus (IIRC) about 700 rounds of brass and maybe 2000-2500 lead bullets (Missouri Bullet 180 gr). Also have an unopened pound each of some of the appropriate 10mm powders--Longshot, Power Pistol, AA#9, 800X. (I used Blue Dot for my handloads.) If you are interested in any of that, let me know and we will work something out.

I had a recent cancer diagnosis, one surgery two weeks ago, more to follow. So it is time to start selling off.
