Sold

PREFER FACE TO FACE in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metro. Must be willing to show me your TX DL or TXCHL but I do not take any info down. I will provide a bill of sale if you request one. I have a valid TXCHL.

Purchased two and decided to sell the unfired one. It's been stored in my safe since purchase, never fired except factory tested. These are fantastic bolt action rifles and I love shooting mine (haven't had any issues with it shooting .38 special factory ammo).

Picture of actual rifle for sale added.

Comes in original box with manual, stainless Ruger rings (still in package), warranty card, lock, TWO RUGER FACTORY MAGS.

$599

Please PM or Email if you are interested.

Have you had any problems with this model yet? I've been told by an "expert" that the model 77 is to frail to handle the 357 mag's pressures, and over time the reciever will have issues. What is your assessment of this rifle? Thanks!

I have never shot 357mags so I can't comment on that. It's just a fun range rifle for me so I shoot regular old 38 SPCL since they are cheaper. I've had no problems at all with .38 Special, no problems with my rifle. If you go to rugerforum.com I believe there are some posts about the rifle that may be more helpful.

I think that any handgun/rifle that shoots lots of full powered magnum loads will eventually develop issues unless you happen to have a firearm built like a tank (and there are probably some out there). Now if your expert is talking about issues with just a light number of magnums then that's another thing. But I'm not an expert and don't shoot magnums so I just can't say at all.

Sorry I couldn't help more.
