For Sale : Moisin Nagant M44... $50.00

With all the interest in the rifle forum over Moisin Nagants I figured I would sell my beater M44 that I have not shot in a decade. Anyhow, it's a M44 ( Carbine ) and shoots pretty good, at least as a remember from 10 years ago. Here is why is why I am asking only $50.00 - 1. I re-barreled it in the 90's and used a pipe wrench and a vise to do it, hence the barrel has pipe wrench marks and is severely marred near the receiver, the receiver has vise marks on it. 2. The top hand guard is missing and it has no bayonet. 3. I never checked the headspace after re-barreling with headspace guages as I was too cheap to buy them, but did fire over 50 rds. through it, and the cases never showed any signs of excessive headspace ( I.E. backed out primers, case stretching at head ) 4. I won't drive anywhere to meet for this price other than South Austin or San Marcos, I live in Wimberley. If you don't want to do cash i'll trade for $50.00 worth of the following ammo choices : 30.06, .303 British, 7.62 x 39, .308, 9mm, 45 auto, 45 long colt, 454 casull, .357, .38 special, .223, .40 S & W, .22 mag, or last but not least .22 long rifle.

I think I have about 40 rounds of russian surplus for the moisin, if I can find it, i'll throw it in.

Your list of ammo suggests a very fine collection. However, I'm surprised that there's no .38 S&W on there. You need a Webley, Sir.
