FS: Stainless Colt Government model 1911 !NEW PICS!!!
Selling a Stainless Colt Government model 1911 for $650. It has a stainless barrel. It also includes the original case, 3 magazines, a sturdy passport holster, a US Army magazine holster, a gun lock, and manual.
It has a light scratch under the word model on the frame that I couldn't get a clear picture of because of the reflecting light. I hope to get better pictures soon but you are welcome to meet me anywhere around the Lufkin or Livingston area to inspect it. I am not the original owner and this gun was bought a few months ago but I am selling it to help fund my continuing college education. I have never carried this gun and the original owner only used it to take his CHL test. I've known the original owner for years.

another pic coming up within minutes, I'm having a hard time photographing all the components as its so shiny that the light is overloading my camera and when I take the lights down, you can't see the insides lol.

Nice Colt! Killer price!
Someone will get a bargain,.... priced well below market value.
Should sell quickly, pictures notwithstanding......

I WANT that gun.
I don't have the money for it right now
I guess a college student can't offer lay-away
Oh well, it'll probably be sold before the day is out. Maybe next time ...

Oh man, I don't even want to know. My daughter is still 15 years away from collee and I'm already fearful of the costs.TexasComputerDude wrote:I know the feeling, lol, btw take a guess at just how much my college books cost this semester. lolaustinrealtor wrote:I WANT that gun.

But if I had to guess, assuming you're taking a full courseload (15 hours?) probably pushing $1,000 these days.

Not sure if it's "too bad" or "whew!" that you won't be in the West Texas area.... that is one purty pistol.
