WTS: Kahr K9 Black Stainless **SOLD**

#1

Post by AEA »

Kahr K9, 9mm, Black Stainless. Two factory 7 round mags.
Wooden grips & rubber grips, additional screws for grips, Wolff recoil spring installed and SS guide rod. Factory Night Sights.

This is a nice shooting pistol and even though it is all steel, it is not too heavy to carry in a front pocket of cargo shorts or pants.
Comes with plastic box and manual, no lock included.

Included is a D.M. Bullard IWB right hand AND Don Hume IWB right hand. Also not sure of brand, but a polymar OWB holster and mag pouch. Also an additional Galco SMC-18B OWB single mag pouch with release snap.

I am only selling this because I just cannot get used to striker fired systems. Nothing wrong with them but I am a 1911 and/or revolver guy.

$550.00 and FTF in Denton or McKinney.

SOLD

What is the comparative size of this pistol compared to a Glock 19?

I actually was just looking at a used K9 yesterday - not nearly as nice as this one, kinda roughed up, for $395 with one mag and no holsters. So this seems a good deal. I also like this black finish better than the worn nickel finish I saw yesterday on other gun.

Size wise this is definitely smaller than a mid-size Glock 19/23. But probably weighs about the same. It is a bit thinner than Glocks (but not as thin as a Walther PPS) and overall larger - taller & longer - than a Baby Glock. Really falls nicely in between a mid-size Glock and compact Glock and thinner.

I have a strong dislike for the Kahr polymer pistols from personal experence, but I've heard nothing but good things about the metal-frame K-series.

Anyway, just my $0.02 ... thought I'd chime in since I just held one of these yesterday in a gun store along with the other mentioned pistols.

Austinrealtor answered this much better than I could as I have never held a Glock. ;-)

Thanks Austinrealtor! :tiphat:

I will measure it though for ya.....
From front to back of the slide 5.75"
Slide width 5/8"
Frame front to back at the top 6"
Top of slide to bottom of grip 4.5" (4.75" with Mag inserted)

AEA, do you know if the holsters are also compatible with a PM9? I'm thinking not but I want to be sure. If so, would you be willing to sell a holster separately? I'm interested in the Don Hume. A friend of mine may also be interested in the package but I'm waiting to hear back from him. Thanks.

Sorry, I do not know anything about a PM9. All of the holsters (including the Poly one) are marked for K-9.

I do not want to sell anything separately. If I can't sell it as a package, I will just keep it.

Thanks for the interest.
