My wife would like a 9mm Lady Smith semi-auto, and I've been looking for one for some time. The one that got away showed up on a Tuesday at my local gun store and was gone before Friday (payday). I was hoping to find one in time for our anniversary, but that was last week.
Does anybody have one that he/she is willing to part with at a reasonable price? I realize they've been out of production for well over a decade and aren't exactly common.
For FTF transactions, I'm near Houston, and can travel (perhaps meet halfway).
Thanks in advance.

Re: WTB Lady Smith 9mm
Since these are after all somewhat difficult to find...
If you do not get an offer here, is the need for the Lady Smith version of the 3913 because it has "lady Smith" on the side, or will the regular 3913 do? I ask because on gunbroker there are currently several 3913's, including one that is "like new", and has a "buy it now" price.
good luck!

If it's the same size, etc., as the LS, it might do. I'm not that familiar with them. She had a chance to shoot one that her instructor had and put it on her short list.
Thanks for the heads-up. I'll take a look.

Re: WTB Lady Smith 9mm
Well, my wife has and loves the standard 3913 and it is the same except I think the shape on the under side of the barrel. Anyway, I am having trouble getting her to carry it. She loves shooting it and got it because of her CHL instructor had one. I got it for her as an anniversary present. Strange. Anyway, if she does not carry it and goes to something different like a S&W642, she may be willing but I have not asked her and after all she is the boss. We are south of Houston near Alvin. If you don't find one, let me know in the next few weeks.

Re: WTB Lady Smith 9mm
Thanks, Gary.
If it comes to that. I asked her last night if it HAD to be a Lady Smith or if a regular 3913 would do. She said it HAD to be a Lady Smith.
However, assuming we haven't found one by then, if you were to bring yours to Forum Day at PSC, and we showed it to her, perhaps she might change her mind.

Well, I will be at the PSC Forum day, Oct. right? But I doubt my wife will sell hers. I don't want her to. It is a great little gun for her. I am not a fan of those grips styles. I like my XD9SC. But, keep looking and I bet one shows up. Post a WTB at the PSC bulletin board. Never know?

PSC bulletin board is a good idea. We'll be there tomorrow morning.
