Thank you TwinCarry. I have decided on another holster. I do have the option of Smoothout or Roughout. I would like to hear from someone with experience with these options and why one is perfered to the other. That is the only thing that holds me up from placing the order.

You're welcome Commander Cody.

Regarding the smoothout or roughout option. I've had my fair share of holsters (smooth and rough) and in my opinion I prefer the smooth. First off, roughout is not as easy to wear especially with the snap-on or clip-on type holsters (e.g. Tucker's Heritage or Cover up). Also I have never had any stability issues with the smoothout type holsters. I guess a perfect example is the popular Milt Sparks Versa Max II. I don't think a roughtout version of the VMII would make a difference (probably why Sparks don't offer it, IMO).

Anyway, that's my experience. Others may have a different opinion.

Try David Bullard Texas Fine Gun Leather his website is http://www.DMBullardLeather.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; 866-383-6761. You may have to leave him a message, I have bought many holsters from him, he stands behind his work and makes a great product. I got my holster for my UCII from him.
