Hi all,

I have a LNIB Kel-Tec PLR-16 for sale or trade. Only 40 rounds though it, discovered its not for me. Includes everything you see, gun, 10 round mag, for end, muzzle brake, box and all accessories. Cash price $750. Or will consider trades. Really looking for a Rem 7615, but will consider other rifles/carbines. FTF only in Houston, please. Please send all inquiries to lanternlad@yahoo.com. Thanks.

I'm just curious. The package you just described an be had new for $540. Is there something more to your pistol like a weapon light or something?

Thanks,
Greg

You forgot to add in for the Obama factor. :tiphat: All ugly guns are worth more today than they were in October of 2008. We need to think of some kind of name for it. Maybe "Obamanized"....I dunno...something.

Please refer all questions regarding price to the email listed. It is bad form to do otherwise on a forum posting.

Is your Kel-Tec the rifle version with the folding stock or the pistol version?

The PLR-16 is a .223 pistol by definition. The Kel-Tec .223 rifles are designated SU-16 I believe.

It's 200 dollars over gun show price because its the plr-16i version. The I version has a button by the grip that makes you invisible.

I just tried your suggestion. Everywhere is out of stock. Only place to get them right now is the secondary market. This is driving the prices up. It is the same for all ugly guns. I sold my sig556 swat rifle for 1200 bucks more than I paid for it a few months ago. Right now i can find them listed for 1400 bucks all over the place but none of these places have them. Same goes for My s&w ar15. I paid 900 bucks for it including tax. I never even got to fire the rifle. i sold it for 1450 dollars a couple months after buying it. They are also listed everywhere for 800-900, but again...nobody has them.

OK folks, please keep all discussion of prices in PM. The original poster has the right to ask what they want for the item and if you are not interested, then move along.

Not that I feel the need to justify my price, but I didn't buy it at a gun show. I bought it at Gander Mtn, which was the ONLY place I could find that had one. With tax, I paid just over $800. I put 40 rounds though it, and found out that the recoil is too much for me. (I have an injured wrist) I don't see a reason for me as a consumer to match a price a dealer can sell it for. I'm taking a $50 LOSS as it is. The MSRP on the gun is $665, the fore end (sold separately) is $50, the muzzle brake (also sold separately) is $30. That comes to $745. I rounded it off to $750 to be fair and not take TOO much of a loss. If you don't want the gun, fine. But spare me your cynicism. If I don't sell it now, it'll go back into the safe, where it will sit until the next AWB. Then I should have NO problems selling it.

Have a nice day.

I wasn't trying to be a jerk for the record. I knew what one "normally" went for and was wondering if there was something different about this one. I will admit that I haven't really gone firearm shopping in a couple of months due to moving constraints etc.

Sorry if I offended anyone.

There was one listed on GunsAmerica 2 days ago for $1450 with the forearm, flash suppressor, and P-Mag. 951849974

He called it "one of a kind".

Things are kinda crazy right now.

In comparison, yours seems like a bargain.

I'll add two (2) thirty round AR-15 box magazines to the package. Will ship for cash sale, trades must be FTF.
