For a new Glock 26 or Springfield XD Subcompact 9mm?

I'm considering both new or used and wondered what I'm looking at?

Thanks

Typically I see a new Glock 26 go for about $500 at gun shows. Don't know about the Springer.

Gun shows are typically cheaper as they tend to have volume sales.

Here's a listing of the upcoming shows in the DFW area.

The last new Glock 26 I purchased was in Feb '06 and I paid $469 plus tax for it.

You can keep an eye on Glocktalk and pick up a clean used one for about 400.

I bought my SA XD subciompact 9 bitone for $515 new here in Tyler. A used one, in good condition, should run somewhere between $400 and $450 dependinig on if it is bitone (stainless) or all melonite.

Check out http://www.summitgunbroker.com for really good deals on Glocks and some other guns both new and used. I am hopefully fixing to pick up a G26 from there. $15 shipping anywhere in the US. I have not found a better deal yet.

Edited to fix link. There is only one of him, so no need for the plural!

Academy has a good range of the normal run of the mill guns, we recently purchase a Glock 19 and 23 there for $499 + tax.

They don't carry anything very specialised though.

Having dealt with Mark in the past I can tell you that he's a stand up guy and great to do business with. I don't know where he's getting these guns, but the fact that he can pass on the savings is great because you're getting a great gun at a great price.
