Chinese government removes flowers and other memorials at scene of the recent new mass murder by car. Also they censor any online mention
of the incident as rapidly as possible.
Kind of like removing statues in the US.
I was at the Allen outlet mall in Dallas earlier this month, the site of a horrific mass shooting a year or so ago. The center was packed, difficult to find a parking space. Pretty much had to follow shoppers in you car to find a space. The spot of the mass shooting had been completely sanitized by repainting and replacing all the concrete sidewalks. The only indication was the new white concrete vs the older yellowed concrete near by. Sad that there is not a memorial of some kind.
