ON, Canada: Billionaires double murder ruled in gun free Canada
http://nationalpost.com/news/canada/new ... e-homicide
The couple was found hung to death in their home. Suicide was originally given as the cause. Family protested and it has now been ruled a targeted double murder.
Took a while but, apparently the truth has finally come out.
Being it was Canada, no chance to protect themselves from harm.
RIP.

It's a strange story because, being billionaires with a capital B, they could easily have hired extensive private security if they really felt as threatened as they had previously voiced.

Can private security carry guns in Canada?Interblog wrote:It's a strange story because, being billionaires with a capital B, they could easily have hired extensive private security if they really felt as threatened as they had previously voiced.

It apparently varies. Flipping through news articles, it appears that licensed guards can carry if they are guarding cash or precious metals. Which in the case of any given billionaire's residence, I'm wondering how hard it would be to make a convincing argument.
In this case, though, the murdered billionaires do not appear to have been shot, suggesting that the perpetrators might not have been armed with anything beyond their own physical strength and some blunt objects. In that scenario, even partially-armed body guards would have been a heck of a lot better than none.
Interesting factoid from the CBC a few years ago: "There are now more than 140,000 private security guards licensed in Canada and only about 70,000 active police officers."

Get enough bodies in the way and it doesn't matter if they are armed. Gives you time to get into a safe room, or drive away.

The couple was somehow or someway connected to the Clinton Foundation Haiti relief according to the article that is posted on https://www.texaschlforum.com/viewtopic ... 83&t=91218 Clinton Body Count.
This may have been as simple as they contributed to the fund, or as complex as they complained to Canadian authorities that their contribution was mishandled by the Clinton's. (note to self if you ever contribute to the Clinton's don't ever complain )

There hands had been bound. But the ropes were later removed and the evidence taken from the home, by the murderers.
Sounds like the family had to hire private investigators to show the police they were murdered.

New leads on double murder of Billionaire Canadian couple tied to the Clinton’s and Haiti relief.
However, at the time the murder of a generic pharmaceutical company owner, didn’t raise any eyebrows. It does today.

And this explosion and fire that burned down half of the world’s hdroxclroquin manufacturing is just a coincidence too.
