It will be interesting to see if any of the kids involved are arrested or prosecuted. I'm guessing that nothing happens legally to any of them. That is likely to make the next time even worse. It sure looked like a large disparity of force to me.

Behold the society being molded by the systematic destruction of the American family and values, as well as replacement of personal responsibility with governmental rules, regulations and handouts -- a society of chips on shoulders, entitlement, and mob mentality/"justice". In this society, sane people are constantly armed and understand disparity of force. I wonder how many in this mob (or any mob, really) have family members that would jump up after the fact demanding "justice" for their good boy or girl needlessly gunned down when they were having fun with their friends. The sword is double-edged. If you survive the mob, you will most likely have to fight another day in court due to social justice community organizers and the power of the media they bring to bear.

Since there was no racial disparity the victim could probably have popped a couple of them and still been OK. The media would probably have ignored the case since there would be no social justice angle. As it turned out though, it was better that he didn't. In fact, it would sort of undermine the narrative on two fronts....portraying black-on-black crime and a black man using a gun to defend himself. The media hates showing minority gun owners and really hates showing them using a gun in self-defense.

But wow, they followed up the mob video with a video interview about using a gun to defend yourself against a mob, and a rational discussion of the risks and legality. I'm shocked, shocked to see anything like that on a US TV station, especially in a metro area like Memphis.

This is also a good reason to carry appendix. Easier to get to then you're in a defensive position.
