Another reason my kids are doing online public school at home.

He should and I hope will will be sent to some sort of juvenile prison for a good stretch...

And, if he gets out in time to re-attend school, he should be permanently barred from riding in a school bus.

To be fair, I know two people who drive school buses, so I'm biased. The nonsense they have to put up with from students is unbelievable.

You couldn't pay me enough to be a school bus driver even if it was in the jillions...

Hopefully this violent little thug will be removed permanently from societies education system.

If sent to juvenile prison, he'll still be receiving an education . . . advanced criminal studies. He'll come out fully prepared to continue a life of violent crime.

I understand your perspective, but what are we to do if not lock up this thug?

Perhaps, administer 50 lashes with a cane as a just punishment. I've seen this done on a Youtube video and man if something like doesn't convince him to go straight, nothing will.

Or, a long solitary confinement so that he won't be attending criminal "graduate school"?

Or, put him in the "hot box" for a reasonable time like in the movie "Cool Hand Luke".

Ah, the possibilities for punishment are endless for jr. criminals to endure and then perhaps reconsider the appeal of "thug life"....

I disagree. He committed an adult crime and should be sent to an adult prison where new 'fish' are made welcome.

If he hit the woman hard enough to knock her out he could have caused brain damage or killed her. He needs to do big boy time.

Oh, I never said we shouldn't lock him up -- he certainly needs to be removed from society.

I am merely observing his "education" has not ceased and this marks the beginning, not the end, of a violent criminal career.
