Two men stole a car at a gas station. Owner called a friend and searched for the car. Found it and gave chase, robbers smashed into a tree, both died at the scene.
Seventeen year old man connected to two recent murders including the murder during the Phillips 66 robbery viewtopic.php?f=108&t=73017" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
He is found with the body of his partner, who is also connected to both crimes. Can you say Capital Murder times two, maybe three.

Good for the car thieves. The herd was thinned by 2 at no cost to the taxpayers. I hope the tree wasn't damaged badly.
Good for one of the dead thugs in the second link. One out of two isn't bad. Maybe 17 year old Anthony Jamerson will get the express lane through death row...

Longer than it should be...
No idea if this is true:
The average time on death row prior to execution in Texas is 10.26 yrs. The shortest length of time 248 days & the longest 24 yrs.

Not gonna happen. Supremes say no death penalty for those convicted of committing capital crimes as a juvenile.

Bummer. We're going to have to feed this miserable creature forever. Unless he gets released for being a model citizen.
Not Houston, but Liberty County. Didn't die, so may be smarter now. 12 year old put a lighted cigarette lighter under a .22 cartridge to see what it would do. He found out.

I look my doors when I'm filling up the car.

Not in Houston. Man in hover-round gets upset about an elevator leaving without him. Natural selection at work.
