Just published - this is really close to my in-laws... good thing they have their own arsenal.
"A Canyon Lake homeowner shot and killed a man who he said was armed with a baseball and was trying to rob him.
A Comal County sheriff's spokesman said around 4:09 a.m. on Thursday, the sheriff's office received a 911 call reporting a possible burglary in the 100 park of Chapman Parkway. The caller also reported hearing gunshots.
According to the spokesman, the sheriff's office received a subsequent 911 call from a man who said he had just shot someone in the 100 block of Chapman Parkway. The man said he confronted and then shot the would-be burglar, who he said was armed with a baseball bat."
