Maybe just poor reporting but this could have been worded better - "Lester said she was sleeping in the nude and the robbers forced her to stay that way as they threatened to kill everyone in the house.

"I felt violated because they made me take off my clothes," Lester said. "I tried to cover myself and they made me take off my clothes – and my brother is right there."

I don't believe it is being reported word for word.
