Car waiting with the engine running along the curb. Victim walks out of building, begins walking down sidewalk. Shooter waiting for him hidden. Shooter walks up behind the victim and fires one shot to the head. Shooter then gets in passenger seat of car and they leave. It did not mention a if a suppressor was used.

Of course this is all fiction as guns are illegal in NYC.

They even stopped nonchalantly at a stop light on the same block. Apparently he had a lot of enemies. Mom runs some kind of mortgage scam business and he has a long criminal record.

Some of the witnesses said the gunfire was loud
David Mirambeau, 29, a UPS worker delivering packages, said the sound of the gunshot reverberated down the street.

β€œI just heard a gunshot. It was loud. There was blood all over his face,” he said of Woodard. β€œHe was gasping for air. He was still alive.”

You want it loud, so the witnesses will be afraid of you, according to Peter Clemenza, a well-known expert in these matters.

A .22 LR subsonic round might seem loud to those not accustomed to guns.

It must have been a dreaded 9mm hollow point cop killer round, penetrates armor, skulls, everything, and loud enough to knock people down.

It's always kind of puzzling how different news sources can come up with different versions of the same event.

I had read another online story about this (can't remember where, so I will not be able to post the link) where
surveillance cameras said the hit man lingered outside the victim's hotel for 30 minutes, not 10. That story
said the getaway car was a Lincoln Town Car, while one of the other links says that it was a Lincoln MKZ.

The story I read said that the murder round was a 9MM, and the weapon used was the same one used in a crime
in Queens, NY. The report neglected to say how police know this. There was no mention made of the gun being
left behind at the crime scene, and I would think a ballistics comparison of the bullets in the 2 crime scenes would
take a while.

Mention was made in the other story that the getaway car exited the area via the Midtown Tunnel.

He could have been killed due to some mortgage scam reason, or since he claims to have been roughed up by
some hip hop star's people, maybe it's one of those stupid East Coast/West Coast feuds.

Seemed to be about releasing the video footage not showing the video footage.

If the bullets were FMJ that retained their weight, any competent pathologist or forensic scientist could figure it out in a couple of minutes.

The law student assassinated on a busy New York City street worked as a drug courier and was assassinated after a large sum of money he was carrying was confiscated by police in California, it was claimed on Thursday.

Brandon Woodard, 31, reportedly flew to New York from his home in Los Angeles to try to smooth things over with his angry bosses. Instead, he was coldly executed in Midtown Manhattan in broad daylight on Monday.

New York police say they are closing in on the men responsible for Woodard's death. They have identified the getaway driver and detectives currently searching for him.
