I do not get the ideal it was a suicide by the police. . .

The Post reported Santos did not realize the two apparent drug buyers were undercover police officers, and that he hoped to rob them as well as the drug dealer.

Appears they were working undercover and the suspect just thought they were drug dealers.

I will admit that is a quick way to get killed. Pointing an Air Pistol on two armed "drug dealers."
