1 dead, 4 wounded after shooting rampage at California chicken plant
Another fake story. Everyone knows that no one has guns in Kalifornia and that is against the law to carry a concealed gun.

A parolee with an "extensive" criminal history. How about make parolee boards responsible for their decisions?

But they have a 10 day waiting period for purchasing firearms, and almost no one has a carry permit/license. And the laws there that say all firearms that are transported must be unloaded and locked in a case or out of "reach" (or words to that effect). So hard to see how that didn't prevent such a terrible incident from occurring.

Seriously, though, my condolences and best wishes to the families who lost folks in this incident.

You can get a carry permit pretty easy in Cali. Just make a nice big donation to your local sherrifs reelection campaign

I read the words you said and the spirit in which you said them...and stand by what I wrote...how many Californians have CHL/CWP in relation to other states such as Texas or Florida?

It very much depends on the county you live in. The rural counties are almost shall issue. There are quite a few CCW holders in California its just that everyone forgets that there is a gigantic rural state that plays second fiddle to San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. I've met a few CCW holders from Kern county and they think its sad and funny that they can carry in San Fransisco but the residents there cannot. San Francisco is basically a "no issue" city and county just like LA county. Recently Orange county, south of Los Angeles, switched from a very pro carry, shall issue sheriff to one that is very anti carry. The new sheriff then set about revoking peoples carry permits but had a real uphill battle since so many (for California anyway) were issued.

Either way though, California lags far behind most other states in CCW issuance but it is certainly a far cry from non existent.
