Investigators say an unidentified woman - wearing no clothes - was shot and killed Saturday afternoon by two off-duty law enforcement officers.



Detectives have not said what type of weapon the deceased was carrying. Apparently it appeared dangerous enough to the officers that they felt it necessary to use deadly force.

"She came with a weapon and I would surmise that they felt their life was in danger," Neinhuis said.

Swanson's boyfriend David Simpson today said she was extremely religious and though that 'the end times were near'.

He also said the gun that she was carrying was an antique that only holds one bullet and doesn't fire.

I guess this pretty much cinches it. If you run around nekid, you're liable to git shot. No innuendo intended.

Almost all the really terrific things that have ever happened to me occurred in the presence of a naked woman!

Reports of naked women sure empty out the doughnut shops though.

The state of being without apparell aside

I think the message behind this is that drugs can make people do things they would never normally do. Watch your kids (cause all kids are stupid--I know I was a good kid and never tried so much as a cigarette, but I was still stupid), and make sure you get your own drinks when you are out (teach your teens this too). A note from the police saying "It is regretful that your daughter had to be shot but she had XYZ in her system and was attempting to attack us, we had no choice," is not going to assuage any grief.
