was curious about WI laws ... found
Guns in Church? A Wisconsin Pastor Begs Congregants Not to Pack Heat on Sunday Morning After Concealed Carry Law Passes
Unlike other states, where concealed carry is specifically prohibited in places of worship, Wisconsin's new law allows it anywhere except for specific locations.
November 6, 2011
In order to ban concealed carry, a property owner has to post signs announcing the rules. This no simple matter: since the law is vague on the requirement, it means consulting with a lawyer for guidance.
And while a church or a business is permitted to ban weapons, it can be held liable if it fails to enforce the rules. ...

churches across Wisconsin are taking action to keep weapons out ...
Several catholic priests from parishes in Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls said they’re waiting for more direction from the diocese before posting signs banning weapons.

They are searching every room, closet, etc to find people that may still be hiding and trying to determine if there is more than one shooter.
They are working two crime scenes.....inside and outside.
4 dead inside and 3 dead outside. Shooter is one of the 3 dead outside.
The LEO who first responded and killed the shooter is a 20 year Veteran and trained as a Tactical Officer.

Sikh rights groups have reported a rise in bias attacks since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. The Washington-based Sikh Coalition has reported more than 700 incidents in the U.S. since 9/11, which advocates blame on anti-Islamic sentiment. Sikhs don't practice the same religion as Muslims, but their long beards and turbans often cause them to be mistaken for Muslims, advocates say.

If they want to reduce the number of innocents dying from violence, including gun violence, Constitutional carry is the best way to do that.
If they want to increase the number of innocents dying and protect the guilty from speedy and public justice, more gun control is the best way to aid and abet the criminals.
What changes mayors, presidental candidates and other politicians support reveal their true nature.

News conference corrected an error in reporting that a single officer shot and killed the shooter.
They said that two officers responded and engaged the shooter outside. The shooter ambushed the first officer (20yr Veteran) and wounded him seriously. The 2nd officer (who was not injured) shot and killed the shooter.

The Sikh religion is from the Indian region of Punjab. They wear turbans, and have small curved knives, but are not Muslim. They are often mistaken for Muslim in America. They are a minority in India. Most Indians are Hindu. They believe in reincarnation. I get the impression that they have been persecuted in their homeland for their beliefs and here in America since 9/11 because of their resemblance to Muslims.
Very sad. RIP.
