Police were grateful for the man coming to the aid of the shoppers at this grocery store with his gun. Crazy guy with the knife bought it at the grocery store and then began stabbing the other customers. Our hero said drop the knife or I will shoot, and so the CG said OK and dropped the knife. No shots were fired.

No mention if he was a CHL, but I am assuming he is.

Will this make the news?

I doubt it will because because it is against the anti gun agenda. It proves that if all guns are gone, there is still the possibility of mass killings.

Sorry one of my few pro gun friends posted it on Facebook today, I hadn't heard about it.

Sorry. Still did my heart good to see it. Hasn't been much good news recently.

I'll see what else is goin' on every so often and post it here or tweet it, been busy lately

usually I Google
Intruder shot

burglar shot
robber shot
invasion shot
etc
search tools past 24 hours (or past week)

There's several every day if I'd do it ... like

Maybe it is being rebroadcast in light of the recent Colorado incident to show all the anti's that there is a place for a gun in the hands of responsible and law abiding people.

A Group Of So-Called Highly Trained Professionals> http://sgtreport.com/2012/08/a-firing-s ... 5-seconds/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

In the case of Salt Lake City people had been attacked and the situation was handled without a shot being fired by a so-called untrained individual with a gun. It only makes local news, never national

In the case of Michigan...well...no one was attacked and the individual who was shot was the one who called 911

Apples and oranges.

The man in Salt Lake City put the knife down when ordered at gunpoint. The guy in Michigan committed suicide by cop.

We had a terrible lunch, after leaving Temple Square, in a Red Lobster in Salt Lake City last fall. Somebody should have been stabbed over that. The absolute worst lunch we have ever had in a Red Lobster anywhere. I was carrying and if anyone started to stab the cook, I probably wouldn't have intervened.
