The "Corner Grocery" store in Sugar Land was the scene of an attempted robbery on or about 5/31/12.
The clerks showed "warrior spirit" in fighting the BG, who had pointed a handgun at one of their heads.
The BG's take from this robbery: a bullet in the back and another arrest.

ROFL
Sugar Land Police say the car he planned to use for a quick getaway was stolen.

I am not sure if the
journalist is trying to say that the criminal was using a stolen the car OR if it was stolen from the would-be-thief. Either way, I am glad that the clerks escaped without injury.

I don't have all the details and this isn't a CC incident but...if someone is running away from you can you shoot them in the back? Imminent threat? It must be different for store clerks who take away the BG's gun? Don't get me wrong. I always like to see the BG get shot. Just wondered if a CC under similar circumstances would be not charged as well.

he was also in posession of the money he stole, the law allowes you to go after and use force and deadly force to recover the stolen property, though I know most here wouldn't I sure would

...he's still robbin'...I'm fer still stoppin'...I'm not shooting under 9.42...I'm way back under 9.32...easier to prove justification...if he throws down his gun and the money he stole...then he's done robbin'...
