No mention of a CHL.

Yeah. More info than what was on the other site. And better reported. Didn't like the cooment by the ABC newsman when he said that "another man with a gun plays cops"

It would sure be nice if these good stories would make more news then the "bad" stories. I get so tired of all the anti gun people jumping all over the Zimmermans and no news on the good they do.

From the article:
By the time officers arrived the suspect had been subdued by employees and shoppers. Police had high praise for gun carrying man who ended the hysteria. Lt. Brian Purvis said, "This was a volatile situation that could have gotten worse. We can only assume from what we saw it could have gotten worse. He was definitely in the right place at the right time."

Dozens of other shoppers, who too could have become victims, are also thankful for the gun carrying man. And many, like Danylle Julian, are still in shock from the experience. "Scary actually. Really scary. Five minutes before I walk out to my car. It could have been me.
Those reactions are excellent illustrations of the vast differences between places like Utah and Texas, and the Socialist People's Republics like Kalifornia, New Jersey, Maryland, and NYC.

The anti gun people own the media. It will never change.

Let's compare:

Preventing School Shootings
A Summary of a U.S. Secret Service Safe School Initiative Report

School Staff Are Often First Responders
Most shooting incidents were not resolved by law enforcement intervention.
More than half of the attacks ended before law enforcement responded to the scene despite law enforcement’s often
prompt response.

In these cases, faculty or fellow students stopped the attacker, or the attacker either stopped shooting on his own or
committed suicide. Many of the incidents lasted 20 minutes or less

I know but I still can "wish" as fruitless as it is. :banghead:

I am ...... intrigued.... by the complete absence of any race information in the public story thus far. "You killed my people" seems like a rather direct reference to something that motivated the BG. It will be interesting to see how this story unfolds and the details fill in.
