A 75-year-old grandmother used her car keys to draw blood from a knife-wielding attacker as he robbed her of her $1,000 in rent outside a gas station.

...

"You were armed with a car key," News 8 asked, "and he had a knife?"

"Yeah, but I still thought I could get him," Moody said

Tough gal.

But then ...

Bleeding, the 75-year-old woman walked around the corner to find the station manager.

"I asked him, 'Can you call 911? I've been hurt.' Then I said, 'Can I come in the store?' He then took both hands and did like that, to go away," she said, motioning with her arms.

After News 8 contacted him, the owner apologized, reprimanded the manager and told his other employees that customers must be allowed to use the phone in the future.

Does anyone know what Shell station this happened at in NRH? I want to make sure they don't receive any of my business.
