Another Really Sad Suicide By Cop

#1

Post by Excaliber »

A paralyzed man led police on a chase, refused to stop, and crashed after use of spike strips.

When police approached, he opened his door, said he had a gun, and said "Shoot me!" as he reached under his seat.

One deputy did.

There are no nontraumitized people involved in this one.

I've had someone close to me commit suicide. It was September 29, 2007, and I still think about it with some regularity. I have no constructive answer for this story, except to say that someone who forces another human being to be the means of their suicide is exercising the lowest form of cowardice. I have nothing but contempt for someone who would do that, and I don't care to try and "understand" them.
