Unfortunately the ABC13 and several other news venues are reporting the mother has passed. Very tragic.

Couple miles up the interstate from me. Helps reinforce to the wife that things you thought couldn't happen around here can and do.

That is terrible!!! I hope they find the --blank-------life that did it and use a asphalt roller on them feet first at about a foot an hour. That's really to good for them.

While I am not making light of, nor condoning what happened to that woman and her baby in any form or fashion, I wanted to tack something onto what you said. My grandpa was from the Arkansas Ozarks as a kid before his family moved to Texas...and I distinctively remember his saying the phrase, "You lie down with dogs, you end up with fleas".

Baby has been found alive, and one suspect taken into custody.

This would be one of those situations, had I been there, I would have acted in a batman like manner.

A question for the ladies. Had this been you, would your carry weapon have been accessible fast enough for you to do anything about being victimized? How do you ladies carry? I ask because I would love to give advice to my daughter. She carries in her purse but if she were walking out with a baby in her hands, how would she get to her weapon fast enough?
