local park armed robbery at 3:50PM broad daylight!!!

BTW if the name of the park sounds familiar it is where the "phantom killer" or "moonlight murders" (whatever you want to call it) whacked a couple. Maybe you have seen "The town that dreaded sundown" anyway, it has gone from being a nice family park in a decent neighborhood to a dangerous place I guess.At approximately 3:50 p.m. today (March 30, 2012), a female reported that she was robbed at
gunpoint while walking at Spring Lake Park in Texarkana, Texas.
The victim was walking in the northeast corner of the park, when she was approached by a black male wearing dark clothing and a dark mask.
The age of the suspect is unknown. According to the victim, the suspect was armed with a black handgun and demanded property from the victim. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
The exact property taken is yet to be determined.
No one was injured as a result of this robbery. If anyone witnessed this incident or a person matching the suspect description in the park, please call 911 or Texarkana Crime Stoppers at 903-798-STOP.
