Police say guns found on man at Sacramento airport
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say a Montana man tried to bring four loaded, semi-automatic handguns past a security checkpoint at Sacramento International Airport and was being held without bail Friday.

. . .

After Waller was arrested, deputies searched his car and said they found eight more guns, some of which were loaded.
No mention of whether is is a MT licensee, simply forgetful, or a whack job. Who knows. I think it is safe to presume that he won't get off lightly in KALI.

It would be very hard for me to forget that I had 4 guns with me. I also don't see any scenario where I would leave eight guns in my car in the airport parking lot.

I was thinking that too, I wonder about his home ...what type neighborhood
Perhaps he thought security would be better, guns safer in an airport parking lot than at his house  :eek6

I just re-read the story. The TSA first stopped him for having "a gun" in his carry-on. After that they did a "more thorough search" and found he was carrying one gun on his person, and two additional guns in his carry-on luggage. Doesn't that make you feel real safe. :banghead:
