Another one bites the dust.

SALISBURY, N.C. -- An attempted robbery suspect was killed Saturday in a scuffle with his intended victim, according to Salisbury, NC police.

Marlon Barber, 23, tried to pull a gun on a man during attempted robbery at the man's home on North Lee Street around 10:30 p.m., according to police.

The two began fighting. The homeowner was able to grab the gun and shoot Barber in the chest.

Officers later found Barber at a nearby home, but were unable to revive him. Police are trying to determine if the two men knew each other.

Absolutely :iagree:

However, I would prefer not to have to wrestle a gun away from an armed intruder before I can start shooting. :fire

That Is happening more and more. Same thing happened in Kalifornia recently. There goes the argument by the antis about homeowners being killed by their own guns.

Fighting back is safer than giving in to criminals.

Trying to find the article, but I read an printed article within the last few days discussing the anti-gunner lies. It cited recent statistics that showed a good guy took the weapon away from the bad guy about 5 times more often than the bad guy taking the weapon away from the good guy.

They may need to seek a safer line of work, one with Worker's Comp coverage and tax withholding.
