CA - Antioch man wrestles away gun, kills intruder

#1

Post by JJVP »

An Antioch man at home with his young son disarmed an 18-year-old man who kicked in his front door and shot him dead with his own gun, the second time in three months that a resident in the city has fought back with deadly results, police said Tuesday.
Since they can't have guns in the Republic of Kalifornia, residents have to wrestle the guns from the BG's, who have no problems getting them. :fire

In Cramer and Burnett's recent white paper published at the Cato Institute, they noted that of nearly 5000 news articles on citizen use of guns, there were (IIRC) 338 cases where a gun was taken away from its owner. In only 11 of those instances was it the bad guy taking the good guy's gun. In the other 227 cases, the good guy/defender took the gun away from his assailant.
