I know most everyone on here knows how to handle the random knock at the door (regardless of time of day), but please remind your friends, family, and neighbors.
This could have been prevented so easily had she just NOT OPENED THE DOOR. Of course, being armed would be another bonus in case they tried to enter forcibly, but most times, they'll just leave.
Then call the police to report the suspicious activity. Dang, things like this are upsetting to read.
BTW, these guys obviously knew their target, so there is a possibility she sort of 'knew' the person at the door, but obviously she didn't know him well (if at all).
