This guy is a tool from Tool, Texas. Tool is about 14 miles from Kemp, on Cedar Creek Reservoir.

He just got arrested on the same property last month for stealing copper.
He came back for more and ended up shooting himself. Sheesh.

Those dang copper thieves have hit our little town pretty hard. They have stripped the town park/pavilion of all it's wiring, the school base ball field, and have hit a water pumping station twice. There has also been some theft from private property. Hope a few more shoot themselves.

I've read the article twice and I still can't find the error.

...error is that he missed the femoral artery from such close range!!!

In Grapevine not long ago we had a thief merrily sawing a light/utility pole on the side of the highway dressed in a reflective vest, hard-hat and also had a yellow light flashing on top of his pickup truck. A cop from a neighboring town called it in and after Grapevine PD showed up and questioned him, a quick call to TxDOT proved he was not supposed to be doing that and they've experienced numerous thefts of those $2,500 utility poles. Further investigation into Texas DPS Metals website showed there were quite a few transactions of that guy selling large amounts of aluminum. All the info was passed on to TxDOT and surrounding agencies for hopefully more charges.
