I think its called capitalism. They make a lot of money from these shows and they don't filter general content they broadcast by their own political philosophy.
You could say they don't walk the walk though.

How is It that NBC has a distinct liberal bias in their news coverage, yet their parent company GE is shipping jobs to china on a daily basis? Jeffery Immelt is on Obama's Jobs Commission, yet he is sending American jobs to the lowest bidder overseas...a 1%'er doing what 1%'ers do...be hypocrites!
