No matter what is used to do the dastardly deed, nor how many people get hurt or killed, King Mayor Bloomberg will NEVER dispense with his vendetta against law-abiding citizens having firearms to defend themselves with...he can NEVER admit to the world the truth of the following quote "The rifle itself has no moral stature since it has no will of its own..." and this applies to any firearm. He, like all other gun control (emphasis on control) proponents NEED armed villains running around their kingdoms terrorizing the unarmed citizenry. That way, they have an excuse to use the villains as a bigger weapon against the cowed and cowering citizenry. Men and women like Bloomberg are the lowest sort of excuse for "leaders"...and all their educations, crowds of toadies and indeed power, can NEVER make them more than they are...despicable. The truth is that most people in this world are responsible for THEIR ACTIONS, and some of them, by knowingly initiating violence against others, remove the protections that the human society generally bestows upon its members. Thus, if they are hurt or killed, THEY BROUGHT THAT UPON THEMSELVES. And if it becomes a common knowledge that individual citizens can defend THEMSELVES against these villains, then why do they need a state apparatus, or at least a large state apparatus, to do it for them...law enforcement officers are indeed necessary, but I think the need for them would be lessened by a generally responsible armed citizenry.

Don't hold back, tell us how you really feel. ITMT, please be reminded that the Bloombergs of this country do not elect themselves. They are elected by voters who see the various Bloombergs as trustwothy officials who will carry out the will of the majority. Therein lies the problem.

I am proud to be a member of the NRA. I'm not sure how to say this in a concise manner, but many of the politicians of Bloomberg's ilk are not simply voted into office because the majority of the voters feel they are trustworthy officials. They get voted into office because of several reasons. The first one is the ability to ADVERTISE THEMSELVES. Yes, that involves money, but it also involves a media that is ideologically disposed to aid certain types, usually liberals/leftists. Secondly, it involves targeting "voting blocks", often within narrow areas or districts. It isn't necessary to simply capture a majority of voters within a given electorate. It IS necessary to win by capturing what amounts to key strong-points and territory in a voting sense. And to capture those key areas, promises must be made only to those groups who's votes the politician must capture...I'm sure this sort of process has ALWAYS happened, but it has certainly been accelerated by the aid of computer technology to log and map demographics. That way, in areas where the candidate knows they have no chance, they simply ignore the voters there...while promising largesse to those who WILL vote for the candidate (or can be bought to do so). I do not have enough education or intelligence to figure out how to fix this kind of mess, and it probably cannot be fixed...we'll just have to wait for the whole system to collapse and reset us all to square one. But those whose daily lives depend 100% upon handouts from politicians are going to find themselves in very bad straits if that ever does come to pass...
