According to Fox4, the man in the blue SUV hit two cars a mile from the intersection. The two cars he hit gave chase, and then the blue SUV hit other cars at the intersection, causing a chain reaction of 8 cars.

The person in the SUV then began to open fire from within the SUV.

One person was killed at the intersection as a result of the accident. A second person was shot and killed approaching the SUV. Two children in the SUV were injured and taken to the hospital.

The man in the SUV was laughing at police as he was arrested and allegedly stated he'd do it all again.

I'll be very surprised if he has a CHL.

I hope he gets the death penalty. He killed two people while in the commission of a separate felony. That qualifies as a death penalty offense.

:iagree:

I also heard on the radio this morning that one of the shooting victims was a good samaritan coming to the aid of those involved in the wreck only to be rewarded for his efforts by being shot to death. :banghead:

Read this morning the shooter was acting manic and crazy. Police say he was intoxicated but not on alcohol. Sad for the families of the crash and shooting victim.

:iagree: Where this all occurred is less than 2 miles from where I grew up. It's a crazy and sad scenario anywhere, but especially "so close to home". Thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families...
