North Forest High School is on lockdown after a student reportedly had a gun on campus, Houston police said.
The incident began about 11 a.m. Friday, according to HPD.
The student who brought the weapon was arrested, but police say that student passed the gun to another student, which prompted police to search for the student with the gun.
K-9 units are searching through lockers for the weapon.
