Oh my goodness.... How is it possible that in all of gun free England that intruder managed to have a firearm.

The story says the "Samurai sword" was a foot long, which seems like a pretty short Samurai sword, but either way good on him.

It's a catch all term, kind of like assault weapon or AK-47 for almost any military looking rifle. It is probably a wakizashi, which is a shorter version of the more familiar katana. Both are Samurai swords.ELB wrote:The story says the "Samurai sword" was a foot long, which seems like a pretty short Samurai sword, but either way good on him.

The homeowner who resisted the uninvited home visitors was not charged with a crime? After all he made "life changing injuries" to one of the men who only came to the house to buy drugs.
I don't understand, this man clearly had an illegal knife, and injured an uninvited visitor to his home. He then was caught on CCTV brandishing the weapon on the street and running.
What is happening to England, he should have just allowed himself to be victimized. If he had done that he would not have forced the uninvited visitor to shoot him in the leg.
I think he should be charged with at least causing the uninvited visitor to discharge his gun.
I'm sure the decorative sword was seized by the authorities and destroyed before more uninvited home visitors are given "life changing injuries".
Certainly would not want that to happen.

It's sickening how little time this guy has gotten for his numerous crimes. When will Europe realize that they're doing it wrong...
