Friendswood/Houston: Active burglars

Friendswood police investigated a residential burglary Wednesday where one of the burglars cut himself and left "DNA" (one assumes blood).

Witnesses reported seeing a maroon Dodge Caravan (what a hot ride ;-) ), and a similar incident in Houston yielded the license plate number RSS737.

This is a characteristic trend in that area, burglarizing houses during the day or committing armed robberies in upscale areas with a quick exit route on I-45. So much for "safe" neighborhoods.

Gee I sure hope they don't happen to saunter on into my abode... I work nights and sleep days and that would be an unwelcome surprise...:

But... I'm figuring if you make your way past my locks, my 3 dogs and the alarm you mean me no good and I have a propensity to be grouchy if woken before I get my beauty sleep... :grumble

Seems someone is a thinker though, Friendswood is a sleepy little hamlet nestled snugly between the metropolis of Houston and the ever sprawling expanse of Pearland...ha ha ha

Okay I DO need to go to bed!!

These guys sound like they are not completely wasted crack-heads. Probably they ring the doorbell and have some kind of pretext ready if someone is home. That is a very common M.O.

Similar case in Pasadena led to a scum bags arrest. He'd commited 12 similar burlaries by spinning the dead bolt with a large pair of channel locks. According to the story he was free on bond since December for burglaries in Houston.
