Somebody needs to tell her about plastic bags for the shower!
Oh, she could use some range time too!

Good to see a female standing up for herself though.

Bullet holes going down the stairs...I think the video mentioned that she shot at the intruder as he fled her bedroom. Tood bad she didn't connect on any of those shots.

My guess is that the BGs who pose the greatest risk to her aren't watching TV, especially news broadcasts. As long as her "neighbors" are allowed to do what they are doing, her best option would be to find another place to live. The city needs to find a way to get those abandoned houses occupied or tear them down.

I like how she complains about all the abandoned houses surrounding her like someone is going to do anything about it. The city does not care and won't get them occupied or tear them down. If your neighborhood is that bad...MOVE!!!

to those whose advice is simply, 'she should move!'

i would think that if she's living in that area, it's because she has to. when a person is living paycheck to paycheck, up and buying another home isn't typically an option. while i have no idea what her financial situation is, i can only assume that if she's that shaken about the incident and her surroundings, she would have jumped at any opportunity to get out already.

i think she's doing the right thing, i'm thrilled to see her standing up for herself and im thinking that she might need to get online and trade that Glock for a decked out shotgun. ;-)

So the right thing is to complain and let others make your life better for you?

It makes sense why this country is the way it is now.

Good for her. My only criticism is that she shouldn't sleep with that gun under her pillow. I think that's a pretty dangerous situation.

Yeah, I was thinking about that. I don't think under the pillow is a good idea, especially on a Glock. I've heard, anecdotally, of people accidentally firing guns under the pillow in their sleep.

On the other hand, I'm not sure what would have been a better place for it in her situation. If it had been on the nightstand, the intruder certainly would have picked it up. If it was in a nightstand drawer, it's likely the intruder would have been able to stop her from reaching it. Perhaps a holster attached between the mattress and wall or headboard would work. I'm glad it worked out for her in this case.
