This time in Wisconsin. Talk about oblivious drivers, take a look right at the end of the tape as the tan car that drives by passing the police car.

If you watch the video till the end you see a little bit more of the tan car. It's got flashing lights in the back window so I'm going to assume it's a LEO.

Once his back window was blown out another last shot knocked this hat off and he was done for. Pretty gruesome stuff.
Details of the event indicate he may not have been a very nice guy:

Ahh, my video dropped off before seeing the lights. All I saw was the front of the car then the video quit. I thought it was a Honda or Toyota front end. Went back and looked and can see it was an Impala.

Street mathematics:
Amateur bad guy with a deadly attitude + multiple well trained professional officers = 1 less bad guy

I just shake my head whenever I see a statement such as, "residents were shocked that something like this could happen in their community".

It could probably be more accurately stated thus:
"Area residents were momentarily aroused from their usual stupor by all the noise and were utterly shocked to discover that something serious could happen in their neighborhood just like it can everywhere else."
For most, that aroused state doesn't last long.
By now they're back in their usual stupor.

Is it just me, or does it look like several shots bounce right off of the back window???

I think what you're seeing is the "backward" spray of tiny glass shards that occurs when a high speed projectile penetrates this type of safety glass.

Good shoot for justice.
BAD shoot for accuracy.

All the range-time in the world can go right out the window when someone is shooting at you at the same time.

Officers fired at him and later found him dead in the truck
Did they go get something to eat and come back later?
