Apparently it does.Oldgringo wrote:Unbelievable! A Librarian is robbed at gunpoint! Is this guy an instant winner or what?

I am glad the librarian was not hurt and they arrested the guy. It sounds like he wanted to buy some more drugs. It is interesting to read some of the comments posted. One of them hoped that the gun was loaded because they thought that the suspect would get a longer sentence. Another reader corrected him.

Oldgringo and other East Texas motorists:
The town in the story is DAINGERFIELD, Texas.
Some TexDOT signs along FM roads in East Texas will point you
to DANGERFIELD, Texas. Even the state doesn't always get the
spelling correct.
Daingerfield is 15 miles from Pittsburg, Texas which is the home of
famed muscle car specialist Mr. Carroll Shelby.

As a corollary, the father of Texas (Sam Houston) must have hailed from his namesake city? :-)

Did they have a silent alarm?
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.
