Mathis: Father and son killed in dispute over pit bull

In Mathis (Corpus Christi area) Friday an adult father and son were fatally shot, allegedly in a dispute over a stray dog that the deceased men owned.

The alleged shooter claimed self defense. No charges have been filed.

Reportedly the victims and the alleged shooter were in-laws, and had a history of disputes.
