UWC by Felon, 10 yrs sentence!

The defendant and his relative are not happy. It is Federal offence and that is 10 yrs, hard time. Now, I did not know that the the US gov has to prove that the firearm crossed to states boundaries for the conviction to be secured.

If she had not slammed and damaged the door, she would not be facing contempt of court and destroying/damaging government property charges.

Don't mean to hijack but I wonder how many Federal prosecutions there are like this. We need more, but I read all the time about some felon being convicted of a robbery with firearm and only getting time in TDCJ. Any one have any statistics?

You are aware that the feds don't allow parole, aren't you?
I never want to do time, especially hard Federal time.
